I started looking at this website over a year ago, hoping to get my mom a music box. Life happened and I never got around to it. In April my sweet mom passed away, the next day one of my best friend's mom passed away, a week later another best friends mom left us, The year before , my other best friend lost her mom. So that left myself and my 3 best friends without our moms. So I contacted Simplycoolgifts again and set everything up..for 4 boxes instead of 1. then I had to hold off for different reasons, and they were so good about me waiting. Finally in Sept I gave all my info, and changed my original design to 4 different boxes, with 4 different songs, One song wasn't on the playlist and she didn't think it would sound good, but I asked her to try it, and she did. And It was great..the song was Loretta Lynn , Your lookin at Country, and it sounds so good, I wanted songs that reminded us of our moms. Mine was Que Sera Sera, the other 2 were Can't Help Falling in Love With You, Elvis, and Rainbow Connection, Kermit the Frog, lol. Each box had in memory of... with a picture of something they liked to do, or just liked, my mom's was a tube of lipstick, the others were a butterfly, a mushroom, and blackberries. I did the ring box, stained in walnut. I was meeting with my friends at our towns little Fall Festival on Oct 11th, my order arrived that day, late afternoon..let's just say, I was really afraid I wouldn't get them...I ran home and opened each one, and just cried..they were perfect..The owner who helped me went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, she cared about my story of why these little boxes were so important to me. I can't thank her enough for all she did for me. My girlies LOVED them .... oh , on the top of the box is 4 little birds on a tree branch, and it says ":every Little Thing Gonna Be Alright" Bob Marley... which is what I always sang to my mom, she had dementia and I cared for her for 5 years...I listen to my box every day.
